Raised in Woodbury, New Jersey, Brian Uzdavinis graduated in 2007 from Rutgers-Camden School of Law, where he was an award-winning student in appellate advocacy and served as Articles Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy.  He received the Albert P. Blaustein Award for Outstanding Legal Scholarship for his student note, "To Save or Not to Save:  Historic Preservation in New Jersey -- Justifications, Hindrances, Future," which was published in Fall 2007.  He went on to serve as Law Clerk to New Jersey Supreme Court Justice John E. Wallace, Jr.

Before law school, Mr. Uzdavinis worked as a reporter for the Press of Atlantic City and the Gloucester County Times, and later as a probation officer with the New Jersey State Judiciary.  He obtained his B.A. in Art HIstory, with honors, in 1996 from Rutgers University (New Brunswick), and then his M.S. in Criminal Justice, also with honors, in 1999 from St. Joseph's University (Philadelphia), which he attended as a Graduate Fellow.

Mr. Uzdavinis is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
