Esther Berezofsky, concentrates her practice on complex plaintiff's litigation in the areas of mass torts, pharmaceutical products liability, consumer fraud class actions, environmental litigation and chemical exposure cases. She became the third partner at Williams Cuker Berezofsky, LLC in 1996.

Berezofsky has, and continues to hold leadership roles in multiple pharmaceutical litigations.  She is involved in DePuy Hip implants, Accutane, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), Darvon/Darvocett, Actos, Reglan, Ortho Evra, Diet Drug, Rezulin, PPA, and has served as liaison counsel to several of the Mass Tort Courts handling pharmaceutical litigations.  She is currently on the MDL Plaintiffs Steering Committee of the DePuy Hip Implant Litigation.  She was one of the lead trial counsel in the New Jersey Diet Drug Medical Monitoring Class Action trial which led to a national settlement benefiting hundreds of thousands of diet drug users.

Ms. Berezofsky was lead counsel in the Toms River Children Cancer Cluster Case which successfully resolved as a result of an innovative dispute resolution process which she and her firm have since successfully implemented in over a dozen environmental matters involving communities whose soil, air and homes have been contaminated.  She continues to represent communities nationally in environmental matters.

Berezofsky serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of Public Justice, (formerly Trial Lawyers for Public Justice) a national public interest law firm.  She serves as an officer of the Section on Toxic Environmental and Pharmaceutical Litigation (STEP) of the American Association of Justice AAJ (formerly ATLA).  Additionally, she is on the Board of Governor's of the New Jersey Association of Justice (NJAJ) and was awarded the ATLA-NJ Gold Medal for Distinguished Service. Berezofsky has also been named a Super Lawyer in New Jersey.

She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is also a member of the bars the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Berezofsky received her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden, N.J. in 1987 and served as an Articles Editor on the Rutgers Law Journal. She has published several articles related to mass tort litigation and lectures regularly on related topics.

Berezofsky was born in Europe and grew up in New York City. Prior to becoming an attorney Berezofsky practiced as a clinical psychologist with a focus on the post traumatic stress experienced by victims of environmental chemical exposure such as those involved in the Three Mile Island and Times Beach, Missouri disasters.

She lives with her husband and twin daughters in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
