Predatory Subprime Mortgage Scams

You may have heard a lot lately about the subprime mortgage mess.  Much of it is caused by corrupt lenders and mortgage brokers who cut corners to qualify people for loans they cannot afford.  Often, they work in cahoots with crooked builders who arrange for the mortgages.  At the end of the day the borrower is left stuck in an over priced home they cannot afford.  The result is often foreclosure, bankruptcy or even divorce.
