Court Awards Attorney Fees in Civil Rights Victory

On March 13, 2008, Judge Curtis Joyner of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania issued an order awarding over $209,000 to three lawyers of Williams Cuker Berezofsky for their work in securing a verdict against a school district which a jury found violated the civil rights of an elementary school student.  The award, which was in addition to the jury's award of $400,000 in damages to the plaintiff, came in Enright v. Springfield Township, et al., No. 04-CV-1653 (E.D. Pa).  Plaintiff was represented by Andrew Erba, Sherri Eyer and Gerald Williams of WCB.
